But others welcome what the ancients called “The Shift of the Ages”. It’s true, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to come to the conclusion that the US – indeed the entire human race – is on the brink of something big. It’s all too easy to view our current shared human experience with a sense of dread and fatalism.
