A select group of Canadians and Americans will be VIP guests at the Havana International Jazz Festival from November 25 to December 3, 2007. Since its beginnings in 1978, the Havana Jazz Festival has been held annually in late November. Some of the big names of world jazz take to the stage during these acclaimed four-day musical events, including the likes of Chucho Valdes (the 2007 festival’s president), Dizzy Gillespie, Max Roach, and Charlie Haden.
This year, Cuba Education Tours of Vancouver is organizing an eight-night jazz and cultural tour to Havana to coincide with the festival.
